every vertical jump … every vertical jump training hurts ur knees lol u just gotta know how to take care of them. ice them, work the muscles around the knee, ware a knee brace, etc..
and yeah its a great plyometric exercise. works ur calfs, and other leg muscles. if u train with them correctly u can get a good increase in ur leap. i went from a couple inches away from touching the rim to grabbing the rim

i looked, and i … i looked, and i dont understand, you dont tell how many days to rest, or explain the phases.. your videos are the best but you program is confusing
how often should … how often should you do squats a week? and how many day of rest in between.. also i talked to a trainer, and he said i should do weight and plyo on the same day and super set it, like squat to box jumps… what would yo urecgon plz?

Keep trying. Watch … Keep trying. Watch for volleyball jump training also. You have already choosen some good exercises.
But do not forget the abdominals, these are the basis for sustaining your body a longer time in the air or increase some additional inches.

Also there is no good evidence proving lifting stunts growth. also just practicing jumping can only get you so far, once you reach a certain level just jumping does not provide any new plyometric stimulus and certainly not a strength stimulus. For example, can I get from a 43 to a 49 inch vert just practicing? surely not
no wonder he’s so … no wonder he’s so short. He’s killing himself in the gym. You want to increase your jump, find a spot you haven’t been able to reach (i.e. backboard or rim) and do 3 sets of ten trying to touch it. I guarantee it won’t affect your growth (if you’re still growing) and in two or three months, you’ll gain at least 6 inch vertical.

i have a 31 inch vertical jump and im a bit fat lol but i used jumpsoles for 2 months so that helped
