    it has to be stretchy so that it can provide resistance.. kinda of like when you are really playing and someone fouls you by pulling you down.. works on your strength. Ive seen lebron doing this with his trainer holding him back with the same type of rope/resistance cord

    Squats do not help simulate resistance going to the basket and finishing at the rim. It would be best to do both. This is an awesome video! Thanks for sharing!

    You can mess with the rubber band technique or just do some squats or get on an explosion/vertical leap machine. Much more effecient with quicker results then this rubber band resistence gig
