I am 15 now and currently into weight training. Recently, I have been told that this can cause vertical growth to be affected. So, what do you guys think?
the answer is no.
weightlifting dont stunt growth.
but according to your age i advise you not to overweight.
and do the exercises right.and when training for example your chest or shoulders dont use your back to hold the weights.this will hurt your back.
try to hold light weights..and instead of just weightlifiting go for jogging, play basketball or soccer..these will increase your performance, stability, flexibility and strength..
