- jump roping (do it for one minute with both feet, take a short break, then one minute with your right foot only, break, then left foot only, break and back to both feet; also try double jump roping by swinging the rope over you two times but with just one jump which helps you jump higher)

- jumping up bleacher is also a good way to improve your jump

- trampolines :P they're fun and they help your vertical jump

- jumping up and down in a pool, the resistance from the water causes you to work harder

hope these tips helped, good luck! :)
References :
Have someone who is taller than you (friend, parent, etc.) hold a volleyball over their head as high as they can. Load your legs, and jump trying to touch the top of the ball. Make sure you land softly. This will help you jump straight up too by not hitting the person holding the ball! Do this several times in a row making sure to push yourself! It will make your legs stronger and help you jump higher!
References :
I increased my jump 7 inches in a 1 month span by jumping up bleachers carrying two gallon jugs. Sounds weird I know but I had an unorthodox coach. You're feet have to stay together though because you have to jump off of both legs equally (of course) and it's better to not take breaks between.

You can get slower results with plyometrics...
References :
For me the best thing I did to increase my vertical jump was to do weights and also the use of platform shoes.

I used to feel a bit strange running out on the street doing sprints with them but they seemed to do the job.

If you don't know what they are they are the shoes with a raised front so your heel does not touch the ground.
References :
http://volleyballhangout.com

i read that you can increase your leap 6 inches a year by taking 15 mins a day jumproping, hops( stand on the side of a line and hope over it, do it 10 times, then do it with one leg and swich, do this side ways, and froward and back), also stare at the wall and jump and tap your hand as high on the wall as you can 10 times,

theres also a lot of other things you can do, i know it sounds like doing this for a year is long, but its worth it in the long run

    i hope i help, peace!!!!!!!!!!
