an hour or 2? you … an hour or 2? you sir are an idiot and have never done plyos ever…more than 200 touches is for advanced people…an hour would damage the muscle/tendon unit…
I would call this … I would call this workout beginning plyometrics, or should i say that its geard more toward coordination. Still a fantastic workout that will build loads of coordination but they are not being nearly explosive enough to bring you to the next level.
Are you out of your … Are you out of your mind??? Polymetrics are great and effective excercises. They help you jump higher, run faster, throw farther, and hit harder to! I wish my football coach had us doing stuff like this. These are great for any type of sport!!!!!!!
short explosive … short explosive movements in a short amount of time yep…i personally dont like what they are doin i would rather use alot of weight and do a few repititions till fail….but this is very good for endurance
pt2. base for the … pt2. base for the knee(very simple explanation) i would suggest you look at other cause to your knee injury it could be a simple case of bucking inward or the knees not travelling in the direction of the toes. BE CAREFUL!
hyper-extending? … hyper-extending? thats over straightening of the leg? if your refering to the knees passing over the line or pass the vertical plane of your toes, i would like to remind you that there is not a shred of evidence that supports that notion. this idea is very dated and recent studies have suggested that allowing the knees to pass reduces stress on the patellofemoral joint. this is only a hypothesis based on the fact that contact between your calves and you hamstring actually creates a supportive
