why do you need …
why do you need weights workout with this drill? For example if I’d do several plyometrics exercises in a day, do I need weights training too??

not necesarily- u have a great mix of workout types and exercise mixes- i have a CSCS and was a college basketball and rugby player for 3 years and the best way to train is how u have ur week setup- mix in wt training, plyos, agility/speed workouts on diff days and u will reap the benefits. keep it up man u will make somthin out of it- the only thing not included here is your diet,.. burning all these calories means u have to eat alot- lean protein, healthy fats and complex carb 6-7 times a day

I’m a highschool WR …
I’m a highschool WR and DB, just trying to increase my vertical at the moment. I workout with the football program, squats, bench, hex, then auxiliary lifts. Then I come home and do a Plyometric routine. No Arm jumps, One leg hops, squat jumps, tucks, and calf hops. Tuesdays and Thursdays I practice footwork/agility and sprints. Is this what you mean by combine weights and plyo.? Or do you mean like wearing a weight vest DURING plyo. workouts?

this is very basic …
this is very basic plyometric exercise, there are about 1000 more exercise of this type of plyometrics. this type of training is good IF it is mixed with a good weights workout.
simply using plyometrics if you are envolved in contact sports is not enough.
combine weights and plyometrics to become a more power full athlete

plyometrics dont …
plyometrics dont necessarily use just bodyweight, they use explosive movements to target fast twitch muscle fibers for sport training.

There are some vids …
There are some vids on Youtube made by black, young people, which do exercises in a park. I forgot how they call it, but I think it is similar to Plyometrics, because they only use their bodyweight.

this exercise is good for an athletic, coordinated population. be careful to have enough strength to perform this exercise. focusing on the lead knee, what happens to the leg on the ground is internal rotation and extension, a position that places the most stress on the ACL.
