Is it okay to do plyometrics twice a week? Not do yoga and do plyometrics instead?
I play basketball, I want to jump a lot higher. Plyometrics is the best way right? Will my results come faster if I do it twice a week?

I don’t have answers to everything, but:
I’ve also heard plyometrics is the most effective way to increase explosiveness. But heavy weight training is also helpful. I post on a weight training forum, and many powerlifters claim to have vertical leaps over 30″. These are big fat (but strong) guys too- they do squats and leg press.
So it makes sense that combining plyometrics with weight training would be the most effective way to get mad ups.
