what are some plyometric exercises that increase speed and vertical leap?

i don’t know if there is a technical term for this exercise…i’ve just known them for a while now as "jumpies"…..

stand on the balls of your feet…jump as high as you can reaching towards the ceiling….point your toes down while airborne….
when landing….come down to a squat position…
trust me, you’ll be feeling the effects for days after….
this will increase your vertical leap & speed by working on the major muscle group: quads
this exercise will also increase your speed by helping to develop that explosive power we generate from our calves….
