Willie Bellamy wasn’t nervous before his first kickboxing match in over 20 years. “I’m a fighter,” Bellamy told himself before stepping into the ring at Mohegan Sun surrounded by 300 fans to compete in the Amateur Sport and Professional Fight League’s “Rumble at the Sun.” “I’m a tiger. I’m ready to do what I’ve trained to do.”
