Can you jump and block higher when playing indoor or beach volleyball?
When you play indoor or beach volleyball, which can you jump higher or block at higher levels? Why? I would think beach would be more difficult. But I don’t have a clue why.

When you jump indoor because you have an actual hard surface to jump from.

yes i think u can jump and block higher indoor but other people might have a different opinion

You can block higher on an indoor court because the surface is more stable. However, playing a lot of beach volleyball will help improve your indoor vertical.

get lift off . Sand is soft hard to jump high.

Yes you jump higher because you have a stable surface when you play indoor volleyball. You lose energy playing on the sand because of friction. On the stable surface energy is just transferred on contact
